BKL logo

BKL are a leading firm of chartered accountants and tax advisers supporting entrepreneurs, growing businesses, family offices and high net worth individuals.

We have a particular specialism in working with entrepreneurial, technological and agricultural businesses in the ‘Golden Triangle’ of Cambridge, Oxford and London, and companies still privately held but heading for a listing or other capital market fundraisings.

As specialists in the agriculture and technology sectors, we understand the challenges that people across these industries face – including creating business plans, fundraising and structuring, claiming for research & development tax credits, enterprise investment scheme relief, employee retention strategies, succession planning and exit strategies.

Working from our Cambridge and London offices, we have the expertise to give personal, highly bespoke support to agri-tech businesses and the people behind them. Tax in particular can be a minefield and our specialists are dedicated to providing clear advice without jargon.

We enjoy attending and speaking at agricultural events and hope to meet you at one of them. In the meantime, you can find out more at or follow us on Twitter and LinkedIn.

Anglia Capital Group

Anglia Capital Group

The Anglia Capital Group (ACG) is a private investor network developed to link angel investors to quality deal flow in Norfolk and Suffolk. The Group is open to business angels and investors interested in backing the best innovation springing from the two counties. ACG also enjoys the support of corporate sponsors Mills & Reeve, Novagraaf and NW Brown.

Since it was launched by Government Minister George Freeman, in November 2014, ACG members and partners have invested over £1.3 Million into early-stage businesses in Norfolk and Suffolk. As the selected partner of the New Anglia LEP’s co-investment fund, ‘New Anglia Capital’, businesses have the opportunity to leverage match funding against ACG angel investment on a pound for pound basis. In this way the LEP can work with business angels to encourage economic development through job creation in early-stage businesses with high growth potential in sectors such as agricultural technology.

The Group is currently expanding and invites private angel investors interested in exciting high growth companies in the region to contact them as per the details below.

To build on ACG’s excellent relationship with Agri-Tech East, the Group is open to corporate membership from companies and organisations in the field of agri-tech. Indeed, whilst ACG welcomes applications from the life science, health, engineering and energy sectors, it is particularly important that applications for private venture funding come from those involved in agricultural innovation, as it is such an important sector in East Anglia.

ACG is based at the Centrum Building on the Norwich Research Park. The Group holds several investor events a year in Norfolk and Suffolk.
